The Audition!!!!!

Every last Wednesday of the month, Wednesday Night Original Sessions is proud to present the  comedy show, The Audition.

Hosted by Greg Stone this weeks lineup consists of an explosive cast...including the up and coming Louis Katz...http://m.nypost.com/p/entertainment/best_jests_CFoOv9zZ3Apewwtg50TlFM  According to the New York Post, Louis is ranked number 10 for best jests above heavy hitters like Conan O'Brien, Tina Fey and Lewis Black.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Louis’s comedy career began at the incredibly early age of 9 when as part of a school project he submitted several jokes to “The Tonight Show,” two of which were read on air by Johnny Carson.  After graduating from UC Berkeley, he began performing stand-up throughout the Bay Area and quickly made a name for himself. He is now a professional comedian based in New York who can be seen at clubs and colleges across the country.

Louis has performed at the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, the Atlanta “Laffapalooza” Comedy Festival, the Amsterdam “Toomler International” Comedy Festival and the Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has appeared on NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” Jamie Foxx’s “America’s Funniest Comics,” and HBO’s “Down & Dirty w/Jim Norton.” His half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special airs in early 2011, coinciding with the release of his debut comedy album, “If These Balls Could Talk,” on Comedy Central Records.
Louis also produced a series of short films for Adult Swim’s superdeluxe.com, which can now be seen at youtube.com/louiskatzcomedy.

Along with Louis, we have  Chris Doucette Chris has rapidly become one of the country's best gay comics. Chris was selected as a feature comic at the Charleston Comedy Festival, Baltimore Comedy Festival, Baltimore Artscape Festival, and headlined the Ganymede Arts Festival. Chris has shared the stage with Hal Sparks, Tony Woods, Judy Gold and more. He has performed on FOX, NPR, The Joey Reynolds Show on WOR 710AM, and Comedy Nonsense on WJFK 106.7 FM. He has appeared in The Washington Post Express, Miami Sun-Sentinel, Metro Weekly, Time Out New York, Next Magazine, New York Post, and the Village Voice. Anthony Devito joins the crew of comedians this Wednesday as well. Anthony's television credits include White Collar on USA Network, Rescue Me with Denis Leary on F/X, NBC's Late Night With Conan O'Brien and VH1’s Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins. He’s also appeared on A&E, Discovery Channel, VH1’s All Access series and Comedy Central. Online, he’s the official “spokestree” for the website Jersey Doesn’t Stink.
Anthony had his film acting debut in the hit comedy from Italy, Natale a New York (Christmas in New York.) He can be seen as a co-lead in the award-winning independent feature Apostles of Park Slope. He’s acted in short comedy films playing a crack-dealing plumber, a Sharpie-sniffing office drone, a competitive priest, an inappropriately violent cop and an assassin who works for the lottery commission. Stage credits include NYC’s Manhattan Monologue Slam, the Little Monsters Festival, and the one-act comedy CTRL+ALT+DEL, written and directed by Conan writer Andres du Bouchet.

Anthony has appeared in commercials for NASDAQ, Dunkin’ Donuts, Humira, Caesars Atlantic City, CarMax, Cablevision, American Express, Fanta Soda and more. He's even been in a music video, playing a mailman in Bon Jovi's Have A Nice Day.

“Anthony DeVito has a quality that many comedians who act strive for, but few attain - he is an outstanding dramatic actor. He can reach a depth and vulnerability in a role that creates memorable performances. He takes our breath away. And that ability means that his comedic roles have the third dimension we crave. He finds the human being in every role.
